'I will kill the president!' Read the threat to Obama (warning: graphic language)

What does a death threat to the President of the United States look like?

Federal Way resident Anton Caluori, 31, is accused of emailing such a threat to the FBI on Aug. 21, resulting in his arrest that same day.

On Wednesday, Caluori was charged with making a threat against the president and assault of a federal agent or employee. He remains in custody at the Federal Detention Center in Sea-Tac. A detention hearing is scheduled for Aug. 27.

According to documents, a Secret Service officer and a Federal Way police officer approached the suspect's apartment and knocked on the door. The suspect opened the door, and according to documents, was wearing a black bandoleer at chest level with 12-gauge shotgun shells around his torso. The suspect revealed a pump-action shotgun with a pistol grip, raised the weapon and pointed it at the officers, according to documents.

The officers were able to disarm the suspect and take him to the ground after several commands to drop the gun, documents show.

When asked if there was anything in the residence that could hurt law enforcement officers, the suspect allegedly replied, "There are things that go boom." That's when the apartment complex residents were evacuated and a Federal Way bomb squad was called, according to documents. No explosives were found. Documents say the suspect was also armed with a knife and pistol, and other weapons and ammunition were found in the residence.
